Mark Higgins is a photographer with more than forty years experience. His first memory of photography is from a trip with his father to Baxter State Park after the forest fire in 1977.

Mark is from the small town of Dover-Foxcroft in the Appalachian Mountains of Maine. He recently moved to Thomaston and has settled back into the mid-coast community.

As a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy, he traveled extensively throughout the world where he was able to experience diverse cultures. These cultural experiences broadened his perspective and continued to color his vision of the world and deepened his love of Maine. Mark has been creating fine art prints of his travels for many years.

As a Maine native, Mark has always considered the Maine landscape home. You will find him on a lake or the ocean with his family and two rambunctious Chesapeake Bay Retrievers exploring his next adventure.
