For those looking to make the switch from another software, or are just beginning their video editing journey, this weekend-long workshop covers the fundamentals of video and audio editing, color grading basics, and workflow optimization strategies in DaVinci Resolve.

Utilizing a workshop atmosphere in combination with lectures and demonstrations, students will take their first steps toward a technical understanding of the post-production workflow in DaVinci Resolve. With hands-on practice and feedback, students will learn how to import and organize media assets, discover fundamental editing techniques, such as 3-point editing, and explore the intricacies of audio editing, including adjusting levels, and synchronizing double system sound.

Students will also learn the basics of color grading, from initial setup to LUTs and node structure, and explore techniques for adjusting exposure, balancing color, and creating stylistic looks to elevate their projects to the next level.
