Her other credits include the Sundance and Cannes-winning Beasts of the Southern Wild, which was also nominated for four Oscars, including Best Picture; Causeway (Apple, A24), starring Jennifer Lawrence; the hit series Severance (Apple TV+), Janet Planet (A24); the five-part HBO/Max series White House Plumbers, starring Woody Harrelson; Sleeping with Other People (IFC Films), starring Jason Sudeikis and Alison Brie; If You Were the Last (Peacock); Archive 81 (Netflix), Lisey’s Story (Apple TV+), starring Julianne Moore and Clive Owen; The Photograph (Universal), starring Issa Rae; Luce, starring Naomi Watts and Octavia Spencer; Late Night, starring Emma Thompson and Mindy Kaling, Bart Freundlich’s After the Wedding, starring Julianne Moore and Michele Williams; and Like Father (Netflix) starring Kristen Bell.

Allison believes sound is truly a collaboration with all departments in order to get the best creative, and technical, audio tracks to hand over to post-production. She enjoys all aspects of sound, from script breakdown, to tech scouting, to on set recording, to figuring out the puzzle that is mic placement.

She has an MFA in Filmmaking from the London Film School.
