This is an introductory course to the noble processes of platinum, cyanotype, gum bichromate, and salted paper. Each printmaking technique is considered and practiced in lectures, demonstrations and supervised labs. Digital negatives and conventional negative processes are introduced to facilitate new work. A detailed technical notebook is produced in conjunction with a suite of finished prints. Additional lab fee: $200

Minimum enrollment of 5 students required.
