As an Imaging Scientist Consultant, he has collaborated with cinematographers on the design of the overall look for many feature film and television projects including SPLIT (2016), UNDER THE SILVER LAKE (2018), GLASS (2019), US (2019), SERVANT (2019), and ICON (2020).

A Certified Colorist and Certified DaVinci Resolve Trainer, CJ also has an extensive background in cinematography, lighting, and post-production. His specialties include LUT design and construction, post production color management, workflow design and implementation, custom look development, research and development for new and emerging camera and display hardware, and imaging software technologies.

As an Imaging Science Coordinator for Efilm Hollywood / Deluxe Creative Services in Los Angeles, he worked on films such as NOW YOU SEE ME (2013) and LOOPER (2012).

For eight years he was a professor in the film program at Ringling College of Art & Design, and was Film Program Coordinator there for five of those years. He has also taught at Florida State University, and Penland School of Crafts.
