The Canon and Maine Media Showcase Your Editing Skills Competition.

Prize
One photographer will receive a Canon Mirrorless R5. The photographer’s winning photo will be showcased on Canon’s and Maine Media’s social media. The winner will be announced on Nov. 10, 2024.
Entry Guidelines
The contest is open to all students and employees of Maine Media. Entrants under 18 years of age require the permission of a parent or guardian. By entering the contest, entrants under 18 years of age indicate that they have obtained the permission of a parent or guardian. Entrants must use a Canon product in creating their submission. Only one entry per person. The winner will be notified via email sent to their registered email address.
How to submit stills:
• Submit JPEGs with minimum requirements of 2000 pixel width, 72 ppi.
• Submit videos with Vimeo
• Email submission to [email protected] by 5pm ET November 1, 2024.
• Your full name
• Canon camera and lens used
• Your Instagram account name
The winner will be decided by an internal panel of judges.
In compliance with all relevant legal regulations, the winner of the contest will grant Canon and Maine Media explicit permission to utilize their submitted pictures for promotional purposes on our official social media networks. This inclusion is aimed at promoting and celebrating the winner’s work and artistic creativity. Moreover, subject to technical feasibility and in accordance with applicable data protection laws, Canon and Maine Media will endeavor to appropriately acknowledge and mention the winner in our social communications, further elevating their achievements and talents.
